    New "improved" Spaces

What exactly is it that MSN are trying to do this time? I just went through the "New improved picture uploader" to post some of my latest pix when the "Server reset" which basically means you gotta jump through all those good hoops again Dodge! Now it's a maximum of 8Mb of pictures at a time. How the hell do I know when that is reached or exceeded? The other day I uploaded a track to be played on my space, this was a track off an album that I bought and paid for FROM A STORE! They won't play it, no reason, no statement, no nothin, it just wont play. It's kinda like the Windows Live Writer. Did anyone else download that? I did, twice. I have no idea where it is, I was stupidly thinking that it would open automatically when I updated my blog. Stupid stupid stupid. No wonder it's free! I bet it's been downloaded by thousands, but no one has ever used it!! So it sits at the bottom of this page tellin me to download it, it's free! it proclaims. I think considering that it's on here twice already should be a clue that free or not, if I can't see it, I can't use it. Even to publish "rich text"! So I aint uploadin any more pix today cos I am fed up with dumb "enhancements" when the old one was fine!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr.

    Badgers and me.

I don't know what it is that Badgers have got against me, I believe they have even had a good old dig under "Chez Dodgy" without demur from me.  So why is that whenever I try to photograph the black and white bastards, they manage to thwart me without even trying!?

The end of the road where I live terminates in a crossroads with fields and hedges right down to the sea. This has proved to be some kind of Mecca for Brock the badger. While it is still dark at 07:30 me going off to work at 05:00 means that I see badgers every morning, you would think that on this basis that badger photo's would abound in the Dodgey household, not so! At first I found that they would stay put until I wound down the window, ok, I shall have the window already down (passenger side) but no. While I was taking the camera out of it's case they would shuffle off leaving me primed and ready to go with no subject! So I then started to leave home with the window down and the camera out of the case. This time it wasn't switched on and the beep which accompanies power up was sufficient noise to enable Brock to piss off before a shot was possible. The last case was when all was prepared but the battery was so low the camera switched itself off as soon as I switched it on. So this morning I was fully prepared, windows down, check. Camera out of case and switched on, check. (It was bloody cold too but I was brave!) I drove quietly to the end of the road and there, not 10 feet away, on some open grass was a badger! My anticipation was brimming over, I switched off my lights and coasted gently down the hill to pull up as close as possible for the first shot. I silently applied the handbrake and picked up the camera. As it is very dark there was nothing to see in the LCD display but I pressed the shutter, nothing but 3 beeps?? Brock had by now turned to look at me, I was trying to turn on the flash, more bloody beeps and still no picture!!!
Brock shuffled off with a backward glance imlpying something along the line of " Well I've given you every opportunity and you still aint got a picture have you?"
He ambled off into the hedgerow and I switched on my interior light to see what the hell was wrong with the camera. As I had removed it from the case I had turned the mode dial 1 click, this is the ISO setting, the camera was waiting for me to set it. When I do eventually get a badger picture, I shall get drunk to celebrate! Ho hum

    This mornings sunrise.

I had to put this entry on even though it's a probablility that no one will ever read it.
If you do, thank you it's written for you!
I looked out of a window at work today, I was in one of the offices not the warehouse floor, and the whole sky was a mind blowing crimson. Not just a great hue, but a solid block of colour!
I rushed down and out to the car to grab my camera and took a couple of pix then and there (thank god!) I tried going back up to the offices but it had passed already! Of the three pictures above, there was less than 5 minutes between them, NONE have been retouched or edited in any way. The colours are real.
    I hope you like em?
