I have been visiting the top secret development centre known as "Sams place" to see what the current state of build is on his mini moto bike!

A new coolant header bottle now mounted up front.

The exhaust is a work of art, a properly  designed  expansion chamber, beautifully welded. £250.00!

New exhaust sits under the (removed) fuel tank.

The water pump has been moved forward, a new vented racing clutch is fitted and the new head all built up. The engine is looking great. It revs to 15,000rpm!!!

All in all it's looking like a little beauty. Lots of work and loads of money!!

Do other nations have things like the above picture? Over here we call them Allotments. As land is so expensive here and generally gardens are small, there are kind of "communal plots" where local folks can grow their own vegitables, flowers or whatever.

They are little pieces of individuality with sheds made from old pallets and odd bits and pieces. Old bathtubs provide water storage, old benches to sit on after a hard days digging, weeding and so on.

The variety of stuff produced is amazing and there have been programs on TV about how different groups in different area's have their own slant on how to grow it best.

It is certainly a great leveller, all ethnic and religious origins are secondary to producing a crop to be proud of and provide quality fresh produce for family and friends!

I took the above picture thinking that it was a pile of very tiny pebbles. Each one is about 1/8th of an inch across (small) it wasn't until I got home and looked at it on the screen that I saw they are all tiny weeny shells! Bless em.

One little spot of sunlight on this old rusting relic, sad but I like the picture anyway.

I felt the need to share this with you, especially Cindy, who I hope will see the funny side of it, especially as it was at 3 am! Hehehe.

    Why females should avoid a girls night out after they are married...

    The other night I was invited out for a night with the girls.
    I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, "I promise!"
    Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way
    too easy.
    Around 3a am., a bit worse for wear, I headed for home.
    Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and
    cuckooed 3 times.
    Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I
    "cuckooed" another  9 times.
    I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted

    solution in order to escape a possible conflict with him.
    (Even when totally smashed I knew 3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos
    totals 12 cuckoos = MIDNIGHT!)
    The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in,
    and I told him midnight".
    He didn't seem concerned at all. Whew! Got away with that one!
    Then he said, "We need a new cuckoo clock."
    When I asked him why he said, "Well, last night our clock
    cuckooed three times, then it said, "Oh Shit." cuckooed 4 more times,
    cleared its throat, cuckooed another 3 times, giggled, cuckooed twice more,
    then tripped over  the coffee table and farted." Pffffft!

    I want one of these.
